Casey Stanford, MD

While he did grow up on the MS Gulf Coast, Dr. Stanford spent most of his time on his family’s homestead in Greene County, MS working with cattle and farming. He attended the University of Mississippi and received a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering. Because he also studied Korean at the university, he spent two summers in South Korea. Dr. Stanford attended medical school at UMMC in Jackson, MS, and after graduating there, worked at Forrest General Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Stanford is a current member of the Mississippi Rural Physician Scholarship Program, and is fascinated with the created human body, two favorite subjects being dermatology and emergency medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Stanford serves on his church's worship team playing violin, cello, saxophone, and trumpet. He and his wife, Hannah, have two daughters.

Dr. Stanford is excited to return to Greene County with his family to serve the community that formed and shaped so much of his young life.
